Hall#10. The Battle For Stalingrad. The Battle For Caucasus.The Battle Of Kursk.The Beginning Of Mass Expulsion Of The Enemy From Ukraine
The materials of the hall feature large-scale battles of World War II that determined its radical turn. Historic relics, archive documents and photos tell about preparation of operations, the course of actions, valor and sacrifices of soldiers and commanders.
The hall exposes remnants of weaponry and munitions from Stalingrad battlefields, high relief composition named Battle of Kursk, guns, used by the soldiers during the battles of 1942-1943, especially in Caucasus.
Undoubtedly, the visitors are attracted by photographic documents, testifying actions of French pilots' squadron called Normandy in the area of Kursk Arc (Battle of Kursk).
The victories of the Soviet troops in Stalingrad and Kursk made it possible to start large-scale operations of liberation of Ukraine. The superiority of the Red Army on Soviet-German front was secured after the Soviet troops approached the Dnipro river.
